Upcoming incompatibility windows update

Microsoft is expected to release a feature update for Windows 10 tomorrow, Tuesday, April 10th, via Windows Updates. This update to Windows 10, version 1803, is expected to be incompatible with GO-Global versions and earlier. To provide compatibility with this release of Windows 10, GraphOn released GO-Global (host-update-5.0.2.b) earlier today through GO-Global’s Automatic Host Updates feature. This GO-Global Host Update changes two GO-Global files and can be installed on GO-Global and later. GO-Global Hosts running on Windows 10 and Windows Server 2016 that are configured with the default GO-Global Host Updates settings should automatically download and install the Global Host Update before Microsoft releases Windows 10 version 1803 tomorrow. Once installed, the GO-Global Host Update will be listed on the Updates tab of the Cluster Manager’s Host Options dialog box.

Customers who have the GO-Global Host running on Windows 10 and have disabled the Automatic Host Updates feature should download the GO-Global Host Update from the following location and install it manually before Windows Updates installs Windows 10 version 1803 on their GO-Global Hosts.
